Erotic Story/Smoking Bass: Bass & Eva's delicate 'brothers' situation [Part 3]

Eva just found out that she cannot place who exactly she is pregnant for, after she slept with two brothers unknowingly.

I sat in the reception, one hand still rubbing my jaw. The pain had reduced but I still felt the need to keep rubbing it. I had forgotten to look around for the phone the guy had flung sef, which would have to wait till we get back to her apartment anyway.

“Is it still hurting that much?” Eva asked in that sweet voice that had more than often sent most guys’ brain into overdrive. Wonder how I had survived this long.

“No, it’s fine. Just still having that tingling feeling”. She took my hand away and proceeded to rub my jaw with her own hands.

To be honest, it felt way more soothing, and I was enjoying it till a nurse walked up to us.

“The doctor would see you now”. She said and turned around to lead us to his office.

Eva’s hands were off my jaw and was holding firmly onto my hand now. I could let the jaw be for a few minutes, I wouldn’t die na. We were walking down a narrow corridor and I could tell the doctor’s office was at the far end.

Weird but then again everything about this hospital felt weird. Starting from the name and location sef to the building, everything had felt weird to me.

After Jide had left Eva’s apartment, I had spent the next thirty minutes consoling Eva and rolling my eyes at the ceiling wondering what exactly was my business with all these.

I could just have gotten Eva the contact of the doctor to perform the abortion and walk away. Abi, that’s what she came to me for in the first place. And then I had seen the Wole guy fucking her, yeah. But it was still none of my business but no I still had to put my mouth just where it wasn’t needed so to say.

After calming her down and wiping off her tears, I had explained to her as gently as I could that the safest bet now was just going to get the abortion done then and forget the brothers.

Shit had happened, it had happened. There was no erasing it, I told her she had to just stop fucking Wole and move on. Though her answer to that suggestion had been just a gentle nod of the head. I knew she would still fuck him if the chance arose but well that wasn’t my business anymore now, was it. She had gone to have a shower, change up and get ready while I ordered an Uber on her phone.

Getting to the hospital according to the directions Bobo gave me wasn’t so easy. We had to ask people along the way, the closer we got to the hospital, the more people we asked, the more I began to notice the knowing looks on the faces once the saw a female in the car.

Seems the doctor was well known around for the ‘skill set’. The hospital was located in the middle of chaos. Oworoshonki had never been one of my favorite neighborhoods despite the fact that I had spent the early years of my life in ‘posh’ Gbagada a little over a while away. They were exact opposite, the rich and the poor.

Sort of reminds one of Adeniran ogunsanya and Shitta on the other side of the road in Surulere.

I paid the Uber, called Bobo to confirm if he had spoken to the doctor, he answered in the affirmative and that the Doc was expecting us already.

As we walked behind the nurse, I had that nostalgic feeling again. The one where I kept thinking of myself as an eighty years old man on some sick bed somewhere looking back at my life. The question I keep asking myself if I have actually lived my life to the full potential, doing everything I ever wanted? Have i lived a happy life so far? And to be honest, I could never answer that question and it terrified me.

The feeling went away as the hospital, we got to the end of the corridor and the nurse knocked twice on the door before opening up. Obviously the two knocks was for the doctor to stop fucking or doing whatever he was doing to some poor nurse, I thought to myself.

I chuckled as I thought of all the hospital porn scenes I had watched. I needed serious deliverance that I was sure of. The doctor was a very small looking man seated behind a huge desk scribbling only God knows on a jotter.

“Have a seat, I would be with you shortly”. He said without lifting his head to even look at us. The nurse ushered us in and sat us down then she took her leave.

I looked around the office, in a corner behind the doctor was a bed and a cupboard right next to it with a couple of syringe on it and some other little containers lying around.

The 200watt white bulb hanging in the center of the room made everything pretty bright. I squinted my eyes, I was definitely not ready for another round of migraine today.

The doctor kept writing and I stole a glance at Eva right next to me, she was biting her lower lips and her fists were clenched. Now was not the time to reassure her that everything was going to be okay, we were past that.

I prepared my mind for any questions the doctor would ask, I was Eva’s cousin and I only came with her because the family must not find out she is pregnant outside wedlock. Her father, my uncle could kill her if he ever found out.

That’s the story.

I prepared that because the last time I had been seated in a doctor’s office for an abortion, I had stupidly told the doctor that I was her boyfriend and had spent the next hour receiving a touching lecture on the use of condom and learning the art of pulling out if I could not abstain.

I almost yelled at the doctor that he should just go forward with the abortion jor. I was getting a lecture while the real boyfriend was somewhere in Lagos possibly fucking some other girl. So this time, I was taking no chances for a lecture.

“Have you had something to eat?” The doctor asked without looking up.

“Errrm, yes I have. I had bread and tea this morning”. Eva answered.

“Ok that is good enough”. He still didn’t even look up at us. “Thirty thousand naira”.

“I am sorry?” Eva more like asked just to be sure.

“Your fee is thirty thousand naira”. Still didn’t look up.

Luckily I had told Eva that the abortion was going to cost around twenty five thousand but just for insurance, she should hold some extra cash.

She reached into her bag and brought out some cash and started counting. Say what you will about her lifestyle, Eva was never broke. That was one certain thing. She counted out thirty grand and dropped it on the table.

Then the doctor looked up. Several scars across his face that even his spectacles did little job of hiding. He looked more like a retired thug than a doctor. But oh well, bobo said he was good at his job so I was going to take his word for it.

“You can wait outside”. He said to me as he stood up, he couldn’t be more than five feet five to be honest, I almost chuckled but controlled myself as I stood up and gave Eva’s shoulder a gentle squeeze.

At least no lectures today. I stepped out of the room and walked past a nurse heading into the office as I made my way back to the reception. I sat down and took out my phone and set a timer, the last abortion I had been accessory to lasted four minutes, twelve seconds.

How long was this going to take? Put my music library on shuffle and plugged my ears. Closed eyes and I was in my zone. My zone, my world and I could think clearly.

I remembered I had to get home early today, the PHCN card I had gone to credit was in my pocket. Oh well, I sighed.

I don’t know for how long I had sat like that or the fact that I had dozed off till I felt a hand tugging at my shoulders. I grumbled and opened my eyes to see Eva smiling down at me.

“Huh, are you done?” I asked just to be sure. I looked down at my phone timer just to be sure. It was twenty-one minutes fifty seconds.

“Yes, I am. Let’s go”. She was all smiles. I scratched my head. The last abortion, she could barely walk. I remembered i had to even help her get her clothes on and literally carry her home. I stood up and massaged my jaw once more.

We walked out of the hospital while Eva was on her phone trying to get Uber, I guess.

“You should just go home and rest”. I said to her as I pulled the earplugs out of my ears.

“Yes I know. I am trying to get an Uber. None around this area”.

“Let’s just look and get you normal cab jare”. I said wearily. To be honest, I was actually tired.

“Are you not going home with me?” Eva stopped pressing her phone and started looking up at my face.

“Eva, I have got to drop the PHCN recharge card at home. Went to refill it. That asides, I am tired, need to eat and just sleep. You would be fine, can call me if you need anything”.

I don’t know what I had said or done but she turned to stare at the road. I could feel she was abandoned and hurt but didn’t know how i had done that to her.

I walked up to her side and wrapped my hand around her shoulder.

She was still my friend and baby girl.
